In line with its commitment to safety and community development, PSJ Cobre Mendocino carried out a training program on Defensive Driving and the use of 4×4 vehicles, aimed at residents of Uspallata. The activity brought together 20 participants and was designed to provide practical tools to improve driving in different environments.

The course was organized in two groups, allowing for more direct interaction with participants. The program included a four-hour theoretical session, followed by practical training in the field.

The training focused on two main areas. The first was Defensive Driving, covering strategies to anticipate risk situations on the road and reduce accidents, both in the workplace and in everyday life. Key aspects highlighted included correct driving posture, the importance of road signage, and preventive signaling.

The second area focused on the use of 4×4 vehicles, where specific techniques for driving in difficult terrain were explained. Safe maneuvers for ascending and descending slopes were taught, along with precautions to take before undertaking off-road or mountain expeditions, and the importance of carrying a well-equipped first aid kit.

PSJ Cobre Mendocino emphasized the importance of this training as part of its community training and development policy. Safe driving education is a fundamental tool for local residents, contributing to the development of practical skills that can be applied both at work and in daily life.
