An open meeting was held for citizens interested in learning about the details of the project, as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment process. More than 195 people participated.

On Friday, May 23, an open workshop on PSJ Cobre Mendocino was organized by the Mining Environmental Authority of the Government of Mendoza. This workshop is part of the Environmental Impact Assessment process and was attended by over 195 registered participants.

Attendees were able to clarify questions and learn how to access information and relevant documentation about the Project.

The main objective of the workshop was to provide information and promote an open and transparent space for dialogue with the public, addressing key issues to ensure active citizen participation in the environmental assessment process.

The workshop featured presentations from technical staff of the Provincial Directorates of Mining and Environmental Management & Oversight, as well as experts from PSJ and GT Ingeniería, who provided detailed information on Project improvements, water resource optimization, and established management plans.

“This workshop was extremely enriching thanks to the active participation of people interested in learning more about the Project. Clarifying questions, providing data, and maintaining open and fluid dialogue with residents are fundamental to our approach of developing a transparent, participatory mining industry that contributes to the region’s growth,” stated PSJ Cobre Mendocino.
