These are open spaces where residents, entrepreneurs, and professionals can learn more about the Project and share their concerns. The third workshop focused on the theme: “employment and the economic benefits of the Project.”
PSJ Cobre Mendocino continues to strengthen its open dialogue with the community and transparency in its processes and data. To this end, participatory workshops are being held as open forums where residents, entrepreneurs, and professionals can learn more about the Project and voice their questions.
On March 17, the third workshop was held, led by PSJ professionals, addressing the topic of “employment and the economic benefits of the Project.” Participants had access to firsthand information, clarified doubts, and submitted additional questions for the PSJ team to answer promptly.
Participatory Workshops
The first workshop, held on February 18, brought together 90 participants and included the presence of Jerónimo Shantal, Director of Mining of Mendoza. That session focused on key issues such as investment, employment, local development, and sustainable mining. The second, held virtually on March 11, provided another space for active participation. The third workshop, held on March 17, centered on employment and the Project’s economic benefits.
To date, more than 300 people have taken part in these workshops.
