At the discussion session and certificate ceremony for the Seed Entrepreneurs course organized by PSJ Cobre Mendocino, local entrepreneurs with experience in the region participated in the training, sharing their experiences, lessons, and challenges along the path of building and sustaining their own projects.

This Saturday, a special discussion was held as part of the closing of the “Seed Entrepreneurs” course in Uspallata, promoted by PSJ Cobre Mendocino. On this occasion, experienced local entrepreneurs shared their stories, learnings, and challenges in developing and maintaining their own businesses in the region.

The meeting was a space for dialogue and collective motivation, highlighting inspiring cases such as Mariana Palacio with her healthy meal business “Trithi”; Enrique Pérez Caroli and his tourism project “Cabañas El Pastizal”; Érica Soloa and Emilio Auciello, creators of the bar “Al Carajo”; and the testimony of Américo Bernache, who launched his own transportation service with shuttle vans.

During the discussion, topics addressed included the importance of financial planning and organization, business formalization, and the value of collective support to foster community growth.

“We entrepreneurs in Uspallata have all worked intuitively, which is very commendable, but Uspallata did not have groups of people available to provide training. These trainings are being offered to everyone, regardless of age or social status, and they are changing the philosophy and responsibility with which we work. This is a fundamental change, because it will leave foundations not only in individuals but also in institutions,” said Enrique.

On the training, Mariana highlighted: “The call for participants was very good because many entrepreneurs here in Uspallata sometimes didn’t have the necessary tools to start a business. We know that most entrepreneurs fail along the way when trying to achieve our goals, and this course helped me a lot. Beyond just starting a business, I was able to create my logo, name my meal service company, and learn tips on how to sell and use marketing to achieve those sales. It was a very big opportunity, something that hadn’t been seen before.”

At the end of the event, certificates were awarded to those who completed this free training program, organized by PSJ Cobre Mendocino in collaboration with specialists in entrepreneurial development. The initiative was part of the Community Engagement Plan, aimed at strengthening the local productive ecosystem and providing concrete tools to those who create opportunities in the region.

This course is one of many initiatives that seek to strengthen talent and local roots in Uspallata, promoting an inclusive, locally driven, and sustainable model of development.
