The process continues to gather voices from all over the province, with participants sharing their perspectives. Details announced on the start of the virtual participation stage.

On Tuesday, August 5, the fourth session of the Public Hearing for the PSJ Cobre Mendocino Project took place in Yalguaraz, Uspallata. The participatory stage of the evaluation process keeps adding voices from across the province, as participants arrive to express their points of view.

This session was marked by the presence of participants from Las Heras, Greater Mendoza, and departments from the East, reinforcing representation from different regions of the Province.

Since the beginning of this process, the Uspallata community has played a central role, sharing opinions, reflections, and questions on different aspects of the Project: from social and environmental dimensions to technical and economic considerations. This diverse exchange reaffirms the value of the Hearing as a genuine space for listening, transparency, and democratic construction.

Virtual participation begins this Friday

As previously announced, the Public Hearing will continue in person until Thursday, August 7, with the virtual stage starting on Friday, August 8, at 9:00 AM via the Zoom platform.
